The guest experience at The Pilgrm is exceptional, characterized by warm, inviting, and helpful staff. The intimate size of the hotel ensures personalized and attentive service. During check-in, I was welcomed with coffee and tea in the downstairs cafe and even received a free upgrade to a double room. The overall service is highlighted by the friendly staff, delicious breakfast, and a welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home.
The rooms at The Pilgrm are beautifully designed, though not overly spacious. They are perfect for solo travelers or couples, though a bit snug with a queen bed. The shower featured a rainfall showerhead and was elegantly designed, adding a touch of luxury to the compact space.
Infused with Parisian chic, the bedrooms exude refinement and romance, blending modern comforts with traditional French design. The exposed beams and stonework of the 17th-century building, along with the wooden parquet flooring, are brought to life with a modern eye. Individual touches, such as vintage chests of drawers and unique carpets, make each room distinct.
The location of The Pilgrm Hotel is fabulous. It is centrally located near excellent restaurants, bars, and one of the best jazz venues I’ve ever been to, just a few blocks away. The hotel is also conveniently situated just one block from Paddington Underground Station, making it easy to explore all that London has to offer. Additionally, it’s close to various museums such as the Transport Museum and Grant Museum of Zoology, and landmarks like Kensington Palace and the Albert Memorial are within walking distance.
